Welcome back, Coach Amelia! Amelia Hlebak started swimming for the Froggies at the age of 8. She fell in love with the sport and began swimming with the Seawolves after her first summer season and swam with them for 4 years. She swam for the Cincinnati Marlins for 4 years and currently swims for the PCY Tigersharks. This past year was her fourth year as a varsity swimmer at Mercy McAuley High School. Amelia continued her swimming career at Franklin College in Indiana this past year. Amelia specializes in freestyle and also enjoys backstroke. We look forward to her returning this summer to continue her work with our Froggies.

Welcome back, Coach Jim! Jim developed a love for the pool at a young age. Jim performed his first front dive at age 8, swam competitively by age 9 and was diving competitively by the age of 10. Originally from Iowa, Jim dove for Iowa State while obtaining his degree in mechanical engineering. Jim credits this background as the reason he is fascinated with the mechanics of learning to dive. Jim's recent interest is keeping up with new discoveries about the brain, and applying these to the sport of diving. When asked about his favorite dives Coach Jim says, "My favorite dives are any that go in the water straight." Jim is retired from G.E. and in the off season spends a lot of time traveling all over the world. We look forward to having him return to impart his knowledge and enthusiasm to our Froggies dive team!
Norah Meyer started diving for the Froggies at the age of 10. She began diving after she left gymnastics, and it helped knowing those skills to improve her performance in the pool. Currently a diver for Mercy McAuley High School, she was one of the three divers to make it to districts and then went on to dive at the state championships where she finished 24th overall. She has also been a lifeguard for North Hills and will be new to the position of a Junior Dive Coach. She is looking forward to an amazing and fun season with the Froggies!
